S​/4 IT Finance SME

• Serve as the SME for Record to Report processes within SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Support General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Projects, Intercompany, Journal Entries, Financial Reporting, Treasury and Banking, Tax and Compliance
• Support SAP S/4
  
  HANA enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and process improvements
• Participate in process design, fit-gap analysis, testing, defect resolution, and production support
• Coordinate with IT, SAP support teams, and business users to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
• Drive process standardization, simplification, and automation across RTR
• Create and maintain business requirements, test scripts, process documentation, and training materials
• Support user adoption, change management, and ongoing system optimization
• Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
• Contribute to 3M’s Environmental Health and Safety culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business, completed and verified prior to start
• Seven (7) years of technical experience in Finance, ERP systems, or IT business analysis
• Strong experience in Record to Report processes and financial close activities
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance in RTR-related functions
• Experience supporting SAP implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of finance process integration, testing, and incident management
• Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Intercompany
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori
• Experience in global process standardization or finance transformation projects
• Knowledge of financial controls, reporting structures, and close optimization tools
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
• SAP or finance-related certification is a plus
