Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate!
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm
What You Will Do- Prepare and process all domestic and international shipments using UPS, Fed Ex, LTL and other carriers and couriers.
- Determine appropriate carrier and method of shipment required to meet internal and external customer demands.
- Maintain internal databases including intranet and ERP system to ensure accurate shipping history.
- Work with internal customers to resolve customer service issues, including, but not limited to: shipping errors, order entry errors, late orders, packing slip/part count/PO discrepancies.
- Proactively communicate shipping issues to customer service for resolution.
- Support other departments (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service) with preparing and shipping tradeshow supplies, marketing materials, and samples by requested ship method.
- Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
- Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
- Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, pliers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and prioritize own workload
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads
- Strong sense of urgency

- 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience
- Forklift experience
- Experience using UPS, Fed Ex shipping software preferred
- Experience with international shipments preferred
$20.14 - $26.59 an hour

Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
