Title:
Head of Supply Chain
Location:
Brooklyn Park, MN (Onsite)
- Lead the entire Supply Chain organization at the Brooklyn Park, Minnesota site, including all Warehouse operations.
- Provide thought leadership and demonstrate ability to coach and influence at the executive level and across the broader organization.
- Oversee and manage multiple commercial and intermediate product lines within a segment of the Takeda Biologics operating model.
- Understand data analysis, forecasts, schedules, and performance requirements.
- Improve effective use of material, equipment, and personnel in distributing finished goods and receiving raw materials.
- Identify/prioritize/provide resources to meet the annual operating plan and budgetary commitments.
- Implement control systems to eliminate product discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance to all regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the facility.
- Improve product quality and cost and reduce customer complaints through proactive internal/external supplier interaction.
- BS in Operations/Logistics, Finance, Engineering, or similar; 10–12+ years relevant experience.
- MBA and APICS certification preferred.
- Experience with Planning and/or Supply Chain Systems (SAP/ERP), including MRP planning and work order management; knowledge of production scheduling/planning tools.
- Demonstrated inventory management improvements.
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
- Six Sigma certification plus.
- Strong skills in performance predictive metrics, measurement, and analysis.
- Supplier quality requirements and supplier assessments experience.
- Strong leadership: lead cross-department projects and promote teamwork.
- In-depth understanding of profitability, inventory turns, and service levels.
- Logistics knowledge (inbound/outbound material movement).
- Track record ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Business acumen focused on how supply chain tools accelerate business results.
- Embrace change and recommend improvements to products/processes.
- Create tools to simplify job tasks and share them.
- Supervise, coach, and develop others.
- Drive results through team leadership and accurate goal setting.
