Job DescriptionIntercomp Company, a worldwide leader in manufacturing weighing systems for the aerospace, automotive, industrial, agricultural and military industries, is looking for a welder. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of welding experience, be comfortable working with aluminum and steel, have excellent attendance, be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, and stand or sit for periods of time.
Responsibilities- Weld on a variety of aluminum and steel.
- Study blueprints and sketches to set up requirements.
- Perform quality checks.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Complete work in a timely manner and on schedule.
- Perform other work tasks as assigned.
- Experience welding on aluminum and steel.
- Ability to successfully pass a background and pre‑employment physical.
- Ability to pass a preliminary welding test.
- Excellent set‑up skills.
