Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Post Supervisor serves as a role model to the organization in professionalism, learning mindset, conduct, personal effectiveness, strategic thinking, following the GSSC Core Values, and emulating a strong culture that respects all people. While supervising Security Officers and other company personnel assigned to one to two posts at client sites, they must meet the highest quality standards set forth by GSSC while ensuring all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed and adequate reports are filed.

- Ensure effective and consistent delivery of security services and intended mission goals.
- Identify and coordinate staffing needs of Security Officers.
- As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, carries out supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following: interviewing, orientating and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, coaching and appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems and making hiring and termination recommendations.
- Initiate and maintain open lines of communication with Security Personnel.
- Ensure operational schedules of personnel and services are coordinated and maintained.
- Develop and assure implementation of officer duties and responsibilities.
- Assist Security and District Management in the developing new security clients and operations, coordination for new services to new clients, and developing quality assurance measures to ensure service integrity.
- Assist in payroll data, billing data and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure operational reports and files are maintained.
- Ensure completion and dissemination of service documentation as required.
- Maintain an on-going and organized analysis of security operations and effectiveness.
- Provide oversight of operational files, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure implementation of effective field training programs for new personnel and continued education with Management.
- Identify and resolve employee conflicts to maintain a productive work environment.
- Ensure performance evaluations are completed in a fair and timely manner.
- Respond, resolve, and determine course of action for personnel issues.
- Conduct internal investigations of employee misconduct and forward subsequent reports.
- Partner with District Management in the termination process.
- Maintain equipment inventories and serviceability.
- Maintain on-going compliance with regulatory requirements as set forth by state and federal regulations that govern the activities of the security operations.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- A US Citizen or an Alien lawfully authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass State & Federal background checks and drug screen
- Must successfully complete GSSC Basic Training.
- One year supervisory experience.
- Ability to meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements
