Production Operator/Assembler Position SummaryThis role is responsible for performing basic to advanced machine operations, assembly, inspection and secondary processes. The position requires proficiency in multiple production areas, troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Shifts Available- 1st shift:
Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm - 2nd shift:
Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, and other measurement tools.
- Complete required documentation such as production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
- Handle and work with cleaning chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, detergents, or solvents when needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S expectations.
- Participate in required training and company meetings.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard work, and applicable quality/ISO/cGMP requirements.
- Cross‑train across manufacturing areas.
- Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device regulatory requirements.
- Communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes promptly.
- Assemble and package components and medical devices per specifications.
- Operate advanced manual and semi‑automated equipment.
- Perform in‑process quality checks and resolve assembly issues.
- Execute advanced secondary operations such as trimming, deburring, cleaning, passivation, laser marking, laser welding, label generation & inspection, and finishing of components.
- Use precision measurement tools for verification.
- Utilize testing equipment and enter data in the applicable system.
- 1+ year(s) of manufacturing experience; higher level roles may require more years.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
- Perform basic math, hand‑eye coordination, and dexterity.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement equipment.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of clean‑room environment procedures and regulations preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Experience working on a computer and with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience using a microscope for stamping and molding implant roles.
- Experience in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
USD $18.00 – $24.50 per hour.
