Key Responsibilities:- Helps to maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the Factory.
- Primary point of contact for Factory IT issues & day‑to‑day Factory Operations team’s IT requirements.
- Preventive maintenance planning.
- Coordination of software updates / patches on shop floor machines.
- Documentation of standard procedures for support of IT‑related operations in manufacturing and distribution for new and existing processes.
- Coordinate with third‑party vendor support for Factory applications & devices as needed.
- Coordinate with Corporate IT shared services support as needed to ensure seamless support for operations.
- Project management for Factory digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Det‑Tronics operations leadership and Det‑Tronics IT leader.
- Seeks to understand Factory technology needs; communicates ideas to functional and technical leaders for implementation and development.
- Provide timely and advance communications to cross‑functional teams on technology system changes related to the Factory Operations.
- Ability to adjust and adapt to changes in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reporting to Det‑Tronics IT Leader.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing information technology in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate’s degree.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with assembly lines requiring extensive testing and calibration.
- Good oral and written communication skills when interacting with factory personnel and ability to articulate issues and requirements to internal & external support teams.
- Highly motivated with the ability to take ownership of IT issues and requirements and follow through to conclusion.
- Clear knowledge and understanding of network topology LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
- Hands‑on IT skills / experience in scripting & troubleshooting applications.
- Experience or familiarity with any MES system(s) & ERP systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of MS Access DBs.
- Knowledge and understanding how databases work with Microsoft SQL 2012 and above.
- Knowledge and understanding of how Windows Servers 2012 and above operate.
