Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to perform semi‑standardized or semi‑prescribed assignments, requiring utilization of good judgment and problem‑solving skills. The role selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment and receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and technical advice from a supervisor or engineer.

• Adhere to all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements, including QMS, safety, environmental and security management systems, FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Study specifications from CAD models, blueprints, sketches, or tool descriptions and plan the sequence of operations.
• Operate tool room equipment (CNC mill, CNC EDM, manual and wire EDM, surface grinders, manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and hand tools) at a high level of competency.
• Construct and/or repair tools, dies, jigs, gauges and fixtures to meet tolerances.
• Maintain proper documentation of work produced.
• Interact horizontally with R&D, PD&E, EHSS, Production, and Quality associates on a daily basis.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Minimum education:
  
  High school graduate required;
  Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum experience:
  
  5–7 years of related experience for high school graduates; 1–3 years of related experience for holders of an associate’s degree.

• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to operate tool room equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints.
• Good computer operation skills.
• Self‑motivated and quality driven.

• Salary range: $25.38–$37.23 per hour.
• Base wages, cash‑based incentive program, overtime pay, shift differentials, call‑in pay where applicable.
