Senior Bindery & Finishing Operator
Schedule:
Monday–Friday 5/10 hour shifts
Pay: $22 - $28 DOE

We're seeking an experienced Senior Bindery & Finishing Operator to join a growing production team specializing in high-quality printed materials. This position is dedicated to bindery and finishing operations and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex folding applications, precision equipment, and detail-oriented production processes.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience operating advanced folding and finishing equipment while maintaining exceptional quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and adjust a variety of bindery and finishing equipment.
- Produce a wide range of folded products, from intricate miniature folds to larger multi-panel applications.
- Perform precision trimming, folding, gluing, and other finishing processes.
- Read and interpret work orders, production specifications, and folding layouts.
- Monitor product quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Complete routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow established operating procedures.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer specifications and delivery schedules.
- Follow all safety and quality standards within the manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of experience operating commercial bindery and finishing equipment.
- Strong background with automated folding systems and precision finishing machinery.
- Experience producing both small-format, highly detailed folded pieces and larger multi-panel products.
- Knowledge of trimming, folding, gluing, and related finishing techniques.
- Ability to interpret production specifications and perform accurate machine setups.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative production team.
- Experience working in highly regulated or quality-sensitive manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or technical printed materials.
- Experience with advanced folding equipment such as MBO or similar automated systems.
- Knowledge of complex fold patterns and precision finishing applications.
