As a Mechanical Technician I, assembling our world-class machines, you can expect to safely assemble a quality product with a name known across the world. The position includes a total wage of $26.98 /hour plus a comprehensive Day-One Benefit program. Total compensation includes a base hourly of $25.73/hr plus an additional shift differential of $1.25/hr paid weekly. Paid time-off:
Vacation, holiday, and Winter Holiday*. 401K matching AND additional 2-5% annual company contribution*

Openings available on 2nd shift:
Monday –
Friday, 2:00 p.m.

- 10:00 p.m. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. All initial communication and status updates will be via email.

• 2 years' experience in a mechanic or assembly field, heavy equipment assembly, or technical school with a focus in a mechanical or manufacturing field.
• Relevant experiences such as mechanical aptitude in a personal or professional setting must be described in application

• 6 months minimum Caterpillar Paving experience
• Heavy assembly, manufacturing machines, Caterpillar manufacturing experience or automotive
• Intermediate or greater proficiency using electronic and digital devices and mediums
• Experience using mechanical tools including torque tools and operation of crane equipment
• Understanding of metric units, hydraulics and electrical components
• Good communication skills

As a Mechanical Technician team member, you will support facility initiatives and daily tasks focused on people, safety, quality, velocity and cost.
