Registered Nurse

Baltimore, MD
Hospital: SINAI HOSPITAL

Shift: Full-time with Weekend Commitment
- Day/Night rotation
- Rotating-7am-730pm/7pm-730am

Pay: $37.15-$57.58 Experience based
Sign On Bonus Potential: $10,000.00

Job Summary: Sinai Hospital’s Float Pool is currently looking for a Registered Nurse with a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care and a dedication to providing exceptional nursing support across various units and specialties.

Responsibilities

As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.

Requirements
  • Telemetry experience required
  • Peds/PICU/NICU experience required
  • 2+ years of experience required
  • RN License in Maryland or Compact State (as applicable)
Additional Requirements for Pediatric Float Roles
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • STABLE within 6 months of hire
  • Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire
  • Preferred:
    Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – Pediatric or Neonatal
Additional Requirements for Critical Care Float Roles
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire
Float Pool Schedule & Incentives

Float Pool staff will follow a 6-week schedule and a weekend obligation of 4 shifts, 3 major holidays and 2 difficult-to-staff days required. All staff are eligible for shift incentives once flex obligations have been met.
