Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time Day shift opportunity.
This emergency center provides efficient, patient-centered care to Clay County and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients with emergent conditions
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Coordinate services with ancillary departments
- Advocate for patient safety and outcomes
- Participate in unit activities and meetings
Registered Nurse
Experience:
- 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
- Telemetry Experience (required)
- Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
- Hospital Experience (required)
Registered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
- CEN, TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)
Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services
Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
