Quality Assurance Supervisor

Seneca Foods is one of North America’s leading providers of packaged fruits and vegetables, sourcing products from over 1,400 American farms and selling under well‑known brands such as Libby’s®, Aunt Nellie’s®, and Skittles.

The Montgomery, MN facility is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee compliance with all GMP, food safety, sanitation, and safety policies for our canning and freezing operations.

• Perform audits to monitor compliance with GMP standards, food safety requirements, labeling procedures, and safety programs.
• Supervise employees on the assigned shift.
• Review and organize plant processing records to ensure conformance with regulations and company policy prior to the Quality Assurance Manager’s review.
• Provide employee training for fill control, sanitation, can seams, grading, and statistical process control.
• Conduct investigations of spoilage and other quality incidents.
• Participate in external food safety audits as required.
• Required or preferred education: bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• One to two years of supervisory experience desired.
• Certifications or ability to obtain certifications in Better Process Control School, Thermal Processing, and Container Closure are required or preferred.
• Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience: $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
