Retail Sales, Customer Service Rep
Brookland Golf Park is seeking a Shop Attendant to operate the Golf Shops in a positive manner while ensuring guests and members alike are given prompt, courteous service at the sales counter, over the phone, and on the sales floor.

Responsibilities- Meet and greet customers and members in a positive and courteous manner
- Provide excellent service while processing fees, selling merchandise, while on the phone, or when making reservations for tee times
- Learn and use names of members and frequent golfing non-members
- Learn about the inventory in the shop and be able to present it to customers
- Clean and vacuum the golf shop in order to present the shop in a clean and professional manner
- Refold clothing and straighten merchandise on a continual basis
- Other duties as assigned

ExperienceAge 16 or older
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets or exceeds customer and employer expectations
- Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven ability and demonstrated commitment to an inclusive workplace related to racial equity, diversity and inclusion
- Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets/exceeds customer expectations
- Embrace and engage in cultural shift toward Continuous Improvement
- Previous experience with touch screen point of sales systems
- Previous retail sales experience
- Previous experience working in golf course operations
Possess CPR, First Aid, or AED certifications - Age 18 or older for alcohol sale at Brookland Golf
- Previous experience working with people from various cultural, socioeconomic, racial and ethnic backgrounds
- Fluency in Spanish, Hmong, Russian, Somali, Lao or Vietnamese language(s)
- Positions are part-time casual, non-benefited positions that will work on average 0-29.99 hours a week with morning and evening hours available seven days per week
- Location and Work Shift – Brookland Golf Park, 8232 Regent Avenue North, Brooklyn Park – Work shifts are from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including but not limited to prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting
- Retail environment; exposure to computer screens; working closely with others, frequent interruptions
- Ability to handle or navigate difficult or emotionally charged interactions with individuals or groups
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
