To better serve our external customer base, Nilfisk is seeking an Inside Sales Representative that will provide phone-based support to assist and drive growth in our dealer and consumer accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Inside Sales Representative's primary goal is to support sales development and improve the customer experience by creating more efficient workflows from new customer acquisition to post‑sale support.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Determine and execute a regular call cadence with accounts and end users
- Conduct virtual product meetings and strategic business reviews with customers to explore additional revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with field sellers (RMs) as necessary to support site visits, demos, training, etc.
- Record all notes and next steps in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Provide pricing support on opportunities
- Check inventory status for open opportunities and expected purchase orders
- Provide order tracking to customers
- Provide marketing material support as requested by dealer partners
- Develop and execute inside sales campaigns
- Manage lead qualification for all inbound leads as prescribed by sales leadership
- Follow up on all marketing‑generated leads
- Call and secure new prospect accounts as necessary
- Generate all customer quotes and enter opportunities into Salesforce
- Facilitate and execute the new account set‑up process for all new dealers and end users
- Hand off overflow of administrative items to team members as needed
Expected annual travel 5%.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of proven inside sales experience for B2B and/or B2C.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proficient in Salesforce (SFDC), Concur, and able to run and evaluate iCube reports (or similar)
- Capability to learn new software and systems quickly

COMPENSATIONAnnual base salary $55,200.00 – $69,000.00. Potential bonus incentives and sales-related incentives may also apply.
