Sales Agronomist at Pro-Ag Farmers Cooperative

Pro-Ag Farmers Cooperative is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Agronomist to join our team in Brandon, MN.

Pro-Ag has facilities located in the following communities - Alexandria, Brandon, Clarissa, Eagle Bend, Garfield, Henning, Hoffman, Parkers Prairie and Urbank. The major products and services handled by the cooperative include bulk fertilizer blending and application, crop protection products and application, seed sales, bulk and bag feed manufacturing, sales and delivery, grain storage/marketing, propane and bulk fuel delivery. Along with these major products we sell many other supplies used in agriculture production.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the agricultural industry
• Identify and prospect new customers to grow sales in the territory
• Provide technical advice and support to customers on crop management practices
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies and marketing campaigns
• Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and regulatory requirements
• Good record keeping and computer skills including use of excel
• This position will require long hours during the peak season April-June which will include evenings, weekends and holidays to accommodate seasonal needs

• Previous experience in Ag sales or agronomy preferred
• Knowledge of crop management practices, soil science, and agronomic principles
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Competitive salary 70, depending on experience and benefits package offered, including bonus opportunities for achieving sales targets.
