** Job Duties/Accountabilities****:
*** Evaluate and negotiate current market prices.
* Understand, research and assess vehicle specs and damage, including subsequent costs involved with the damage, and make a financially sound purchasing decision.
* When applicable and necessary, attends auctions to buy cars that meet Morrie’s requirements
* Maintains ongoing customer relations with auction personnel and fleet representatives
* Develop relationships with dealers outside of the Twin Cities metro in an effort to acquire inventory
* Partners with Morrie’s GMs, Pre-owned Managers, and Group Pre-Owned Director to ensure proper inventory levels and assortment
* Performs other duties as assigned
** Qualifications/

Skills:

*** High School Diploma or equivalent – B.A. Degree in business or related field preferred
* 3 + years of dealership experience
* 1-3 years of automobile purchasing
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to work as a team player and interact successfully with both internal and external business partners
* Work in a very detail oriented environment where follow through is essential
