Area Sales Manager - Midwest

Mackenzie Stuart has recently partnered with a leading water solutions company to find an Area Sales Manager for their Midwest team. The client prioritises the integration of state-of-the-art technologies to provide solutions for drinking water, wastewater and water reuse across various market segments including municipal, oil & gas and food & beverage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and promoting innovative water and wastewater solutions to industrial and commercial customers. The firm is currently undergoing rapid growth, and is looking for an experienced candidate to maintain and build on this growth.

• Lead and grow regional sales performance within a defined product segment.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate growth.
• Build, develop and manage a defined sales territory.
• Co ordinate with operations, logistics, finance and marketing to fulfil orders.
• Support sales forecasting, pipeline management, and budgeting activities.
• Represent the organisation in equipment and solutions recommendations.
• Represent the organisation at national and regional trade shows.

• 3+ years’ experience in water treatment sales.
• Strong understanding of the water purification process.
• Proven ability to seek new business.
• Ability to co-ordinate with customers and provide tailored solutions.
• Proficiency with basic digital platforms and Google-based applications
• Working knowledge and understanding of reverse osmosis membrane filters.
