Position Description

Ryder is hiring a NON CDL Truck Driver in Brooklyn Park, MN — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

What you can expect to earn: $1,237 or more per week.

• Solo Miles Pay: $0.50 per Mile (with 1,538+ Miles per Week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per Stop (with 39+ Stops per Week)
• Hours Per Week: 51 hours

• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Ryder Drivers operate well‑maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (same equipment if applying for straight truck or box truck):
• 6 months experience in the past 3 years, or
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

This position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates who possess a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including but not limited to, pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within the area and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
