Position Description
Ryder is hiring a NON CDL Truck Driver in Brooklyn Park, MN — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
What you can expect to earn: $1,237 or more per week.
- Driver Positions Pay Weekly
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.50 per Mile (with 1,538+ Miles per Week)
- Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per Stop (with 39+ Stops per Week)
- Hours Per Week: 51 hours

Monday – Friday - Start Time: 6:00 AM Dispatch
- Deliver Solo: MN, WI

Dedicated Home Daily - Tractor Type:
Straight Truck - Trailer Type: 16-26' Straight Trucks
- Equipment:
Pallet Jack and Liftgate - Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Ryder Drivers operate well‑maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations.

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Must have verifiable driving experience (same equipment if applying for straight truck or box truck):
- 6 months experience in the past 3 years, or
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
This position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates who possess a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including but not limited to, pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.
Responsibilities- This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within the area and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
- Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Other tasks as assigned
