2nd shift Forklift Operator - Warehouse​/Distribution

As a Forklift Operator with Liberty Packaging, you will contribute to the growth of our business by being a key player in safely moving goods and materials around a high‑traffic industrial environment. You will help maximize efficiency of the production process by operating mobile equipment to move product, scanning inventory in and out of the business, operating shrink wrap machines, and preparing shipments for transportation.

This full‑time position reports directly to a Warehouse Supervisor and is located at our Brooklyn Park, Minnesota manufacturing facility.

• Safely operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, lift trucks, hoists, or other material handling equipment in a high traffic industrial environment.
• Accurately utilize an electronic scanning system to track inventory levels and product location.
• Regularly complete pre‑operation inspection and report equipment faults or damages to leadership or maintenance.
• Prepare shipments for transport, consolidate partial pallets, and operate the shrink wrap machine as needed.
• Move product and/or materials throughout the facility, including loading and unloading trailers.
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution and 1+ year experience operating mobile equipment or comparable experience in lieu of education.
• Previous experience with computer skills such as typing, printing, and data entry.
• Previous experience applying math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Previous experience reading, following, and/or completing detailed work instructions.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of distribution documentation such as pick lists, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Knowledge of warehouse organization, workflow, and basic inventory control (e.g., Amtech).
• Previous experience with reading a tape measure.

The starting pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. We may pay above or below the posted amount based on education, certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation such as bonuses.

• Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift.

• Must be able to reach or grasp for 4+ hours per shift.
