The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, shipping, and team workflow. This role helps ensure work is completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. The Warehouse Lead serves as a hands-on leader who provides direction, coaching, and support to warehouse team members while maintaining a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Lead daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping.
- Assign work, monitor progress, and help ensure team members meet productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety expectations.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, proper labeling, and timely reporting of discrepancies.
- Train new and existing team members on warehouse procedures, equipment use, safety practices, and company standards.
- Communicate priorities, staffing needs, workflow issues, and operational updates to the Warehouse Manager.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse by promoting 5S practices, housekeeping standards, and hazard reporting.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule, resolving pick errors, shortages, damaged product, and shipment issues as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other material handling tools in accordance with training and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve space utilization, workflow, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Perform warehouse associate duties as needed to support workload fluctuations and operational priorities.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and prompt reporting of hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment. Promptly report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions to help protect employees, customers, and company property.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum three years' experience driving a 23' or longer box truck or flatbed truck.
