About the Program:
Explore Willimantic
Manualized 26-week program for adult men convicted of a domestic violence offense. Focuses on educating offenders on the impact of violence in various relationships and utilizing skills to manage stress and emotions in a more productive way. CSSD contracted service, referrals from Probation officers at this time. Services provided at 153 Hazard Ave, Enfield, Willimantic, and 71 Westcott Street, Danielson, 444 Center Street, Manchester
About the Position:
Group Facilitator
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attends trainings as assigned and required.
- Deliver educational program in a group format.
- Provide case formulation related to client's treatment readiness or developmental level and problem identification.
- Uses supervision/consultation to learn and provide more effective treatment services.
- Must attend supervision as assigned for program.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred. For PTIP: CAC plus relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
Experience with content area: eg. Substance abuse, domestic violence. Experience with groups or education setting.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
For PTIP, substance abuse credential is required. Training:
Training in content area of group.

Compensation: $26.00/hr
