Senior Staff Accountant

Overview

LHH is working on behalf of our client in the media/entertainment space who is seeking a motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join their team on a direct hire basis. This will be a hybrid in-office role in Brooklyn, NY. Prior Public Accounting experience would be a huge plus!

• Prepare and post various journal entries (accruals, reclassifications, depreciation, etc.)
• Assist with financial statement preparation under GAAP standards
• Manage monthly cash flow reconciliations and analysis
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Prior Public Accounting experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience utilizing Net Suite is a plus
• 2+ years of relevant experience

Compensation: $75K - $90K, depending on experience.
