Senior Accountant

A growing skilled nursing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate finance team.

This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, supporting multi-facility operations, and ensuring accurate and timely accounting across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare and review financial statements across multiple facilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Support audits and regulatory financial reporting

• Monitor cash flow and intercompany transactions

• Collaborate with facility and corporate leadership teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of accounting experience required

• Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare accounting experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP

• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred

• Strong Excel and accounting systems experience

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
