Staff Accountant

Salary: $60,000–$70,000

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

• Perform bank, GL, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Support AP and AR processes, including coding and payments

• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and reviews

• Assist with budget tracking, allocations, and variance analysis

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and journal entry skills

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems

• Nonprofit, government‑funded, or fund accounting exposure (preferred)
