Healthcare Accountant

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Healthcare Accountant to help transition outsourced accounting functions in-house and build scalable financial infrastructure to support continued growth across multiple nursing home facilities. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and shape the company's internal accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for multiple nursing home facilities.
• Develop and implement accounting processes, systems, and financial reporting infrastructure.
• Create detailed financial reports to track revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost drivers.
• Partner with executive leadership and third-party billing providers to ensure accurate financial reporting and support organizational growth.

Skills:

• Strong financial reporting, accounting, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems with the ability to improve financial processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing healthcare environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or nursing home settings.
• Nursing home accounting experience strongly preferred;
  Apex experience is a plus.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Located in or willing to commute to Brooklyn, NY (preferred) or Lakewood, NJ.
