Position: Chieff of Staff

Chief Of Staff

A growing education organization is seeking a highly capable Chief of Staff to work closely with senior leadership and help drive the organization's priorities, operations, and continued growth.

This is a high level, hands on position for someone who can serve as a trusted right hand to leadership, take ownership of important initiatives, coordinate across teams, and make sure priorities move from discussion to execution. The Chief of Staff will help bring structure, accountability, and follow through across the organization while handling sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

The ideal candidate is Yiddish speaking, understands the Heimish/Chassidish community, and is a strong communicator and problem solver who can confidently interact with leadership, staff, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior leadership on organizational priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Serve as a key point of coordination between leadership and internal teams
  • Take ownership of important projects and ensure they are carried through to completion
  • Track priorities, deadlines, commitments, and follow ups across the organization
  • Help establish stronger systems, processes, and accountability
  • Coordinate meetings, projects, and leadership initiatives
  • Identify issues and proactively work toward practical solutions
  • Ensure leadership decisions and priorities are clearly communicated and executed
  • Support organizational growth and new initiatives
  • Build strong working relationships with staff and key stakeholders
  • Handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
  • Provide leadership with visibility into progress, challenges, and outstanding priorities

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and management capabilities
  • Yiddish speaking required
  • Strong familiarity with and understanding of the Heimish/Chassidish community
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow through
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Proactive, driven, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive matters
  • Ability to work closely with senior leadership and coordinate effectively across teams

Location: Williamsburg, NY

Type: Full time, in office

Salary: $150,000+ Commission
