Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Podiatrist to join their team of multilingual healthcare professionals in a multi-specialty medical group in Brooklyn, NY. Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited podiatric medical school.
- Licensure: Active New York State Podiatry License (Required).
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in comprehensive foot and ankle care, including diagnosis and treatment of podiatric conditions, minor surgical procedures, and prescribing orthotics.
- Soft Skills: Excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, cultural competence, compassion, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot and ankle.
- Perform routine and minor surgical procedures as needed.
- Prescribe and fit orthotic devices.
- Educate patients on proper foot care, diabetic foot management, and preventive measures.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
