Top academic hospital in Brooklyn looking for a Gastroenterologist with special interest in either motility, IBD or hepatology to help build out programs. This is an employed position with a base salary + RVU bonus, CME money and standard hospital benefits including malpractice coverage. New Graduates completing their training in the next 12 months encouraged to apply! Job Function:
Department currently has seven general GIs who report into Chair of GI. Program has therapeutic endoscopists, 2 hepatologists that rotate from local institutions, a GI motility program and a large pediatric IBD program that provides referrals. Expect schedule to be equivalent of 4 days/8 sessions clinical and 1 day/2 sessions towards administrative time. Customize clinical work based on advanced training, client willing to customize based on incoming physician desires for clinical work, teaching and research.

Involvement in teaching and academics required, have two fellows in program so want this person very engaged in teaching. Faculty appointment through local medical school.
