Top academic hospital in Brooklyn looking for an ObGyn Hospitalist (Laborist) for dynamic role focusing on deliveries at a major academic center with residency and team support. This is an employed position with a base salary, quality bonus, CME money, opportunity for moonlighting and standard hospital benefits including malpractice coverage Job Function:
Total 16 x 12-hour shifts per month, 15 clinical + 1 admin (admin shift that is 12 hours can be broken down throughout month and done in office or from home) Join team of 6 hospitalists, goal is for number of shifts per month to be reduced once the team fully staffed with 8 Level 3 NICU with 24/7 Maternal Fetal Medicine and Ob-Anesthesia Coverage Primarily covering triage through ED - CNMs, PAs and residents on staff as first response During a 24-hour shift 2 attending hospitalists, private practice physicians and ancillary staff working 2 DaVinci robots, surgical cases done as needed but not required by the laborists Separate faculty practice handles outpatient care Join a strong leader with goals to develop an Ob fellowship program
