Physician​/Family Practice​/Primary Care Physician

A health services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Physician, with an Internal Medicine background, to their growing team in Brooklyn as a Primary Care Physician.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Specialty: Internal Medicine
• Patient Population: Underserved Adults (Ages 18+)

Responsibilities:

The Primary Care Physician will:

• Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions
• Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health
• Educate patients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Conduct regular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues
• Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans, as needed
• Treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Residency Training experience
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
• Federal DEA license
• Completed U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
• Fantastic counseling and listening skills
