Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County is seeking a full‑time Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon/Urogynecologist Attending. The facility is equipped with two da Vinci Xi platforms, protected OR time, and urodynamics equipment. Kings County Hospital serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island and is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, training medical students and OBGYN residents.

Opportunity Details
  • Direct care to patients with urogynecologic complaints, including urinary incontinence and prolapse
  • Work in outpatient setting, preparing patients for surgery and operations
  • Perform open laparoscopic, vaginal, and robotic surgery; provide in‑house coverage for patients
  • Responsible for postoperative care and all outpatient follow‑up
  • Supervise and teach residents and medical students
  • Opportunity to train residents from the Urology program
  • Participate in OBGYN and Kings County Hospital performance and safety improvement activities
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
  • Experience in minimally invasive surgery, including robotics
Wages and Benefits

Annual base salary: $321,000 (board eligible) to $331,000 (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

Estimated annual total compensation: $423,300 (board eligible) to $434,300 (board certified), including base salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.

  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $70,200.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS limits):
    • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match required.
    • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO): vacation, sick, holiday, and CME days.
  • Medical, prescription, and dental coverage: top‑tier plans with employee contributions well below market rates.
  • Life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment coverage: equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) at no cost.
