Reel Works Program Coordinator Opportunity
Reel Works is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support its Reel Works in Schools and Communities Education Program. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented college student who can assist the Program Coordinator with recruitment, community engagement, and administrative tasks. We welcome applicants passionate about education, filmmaking, and empowering students through storytelling.

Part-time 25 hours per week; $20-$25/hour
Location:
This position requires candidates to be based in the New York City Metro area, with the flexibility of a hybrid office environment. Two (2) days in office minimum is required. The physical office is located in Brooklyn, NY. On-site program location visits across New York City is required.

The PositionReel Works is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support its Education Program. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented person who can assist the Program Manager with on site observations, recruitment, community engagement, and administrative tasks. We welcome applicants passionate about education, filmmaking, and empowering students through storytelling.
What You'll Do- Assist in conducting email outreach to schools, students, and community partners
- Support scheduling and logistics for workshops, school visits, and recruitment events
- Manage data entry of participant and school information, key performance and metrics tracking, surveys and assessments, and event engagement
- Help maintain program presence at school and community events by distributing promotional materials and answering student questions
- Assist in organizing and updating program materials, schedules, and outreach reports
- Assist with scheduling and organization of workshops and program events
- Help manage and archive program files and student records, including badging and projects
- Provide basic support for social media content related to promotion, recruitment, and community engagement efforts
- Hands-on experience working in nonprofit arts education supporting free programs for NYC youth
- Networking opportunities with professionals in the nonprofit and media industries
- Professional Development in pedagogy and youth development

- Proficient in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and comfortable with data entry and tracking systems
- Able to assist program staff with administrative work related to education, recruitment, and outreach
- Comfortable and effective in interacting professionally with Reel Works staff, parents, partners, and participants
- Able to provide innovative solutions and organizational systems
- Willing to attend school and community events to represent the program
