Aftercare Teacher

After Care Teacher Luria Academy of Brooklyn, a sophisticated Jewish day school education in a progressive environment is seeking nurturing and adaptable Aftercare Teachers who understand the developmental and cognitive needs of children and who can work collaboratively in a creative, cooperative environment. Aftercare Teacher responsibilities include:
● Working in aftercare from 3:45 pm-6:15 pm Monday
-Thursdays and 2:45 pm-5:15 pm on Fridays (September-November and March-June) 1:00-3:15 pm (November-March)
● Attending to the needs of children in a caring and kind manner
● Organizing and supervising games and other recreational activities
● Promote the concepts of teamwork, fair play, and sportsmanship
● Communicate with classroom teachers and Division Heads regarding any concerns and/or behavioral issues occurring during aftercare hours Qualified candidates should have:
● High school diploma
