Director Of Tenant Services
Do you have a passion for early childhood learning and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education to families of all income levels? If so, you could be a great Director of Tenant Services for HELP USA's program serving infants through children aged 5. You'll be responsible for the overall structure, systems, procedures, and programmatic aspects necessary to facilitate a quality program that meets high standards of excellence daily.
Working closely with program staff and parents, you'll foster a nurturing and engaging atmosphere that reflects respect and compassion and is supportive of and accessible to all children, families, and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all aspects of the program, including coordinating program outreach, referral, and screening processes as well as providing direction to teachers in all matters of curriculum, activities, and techniques used in the program.
- Providing supervision, training, and evaluation of all program staff, conducting classroom observations, and strategizing with staff to ensure a positive learning environment for all children.
- Being accessible to parents, children, and staff daily as the representative of the Early Childhood Program, providing the highest level of customer service to all children and families.
- Coordinating with Early Intervention Specialists and families, making referrals for additional services as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all requirements of regulatory agencies as well as program funders, including maintaining accurate records and documentation for all children and staff.
- Monitoring the program budget, including purchasing of supplies, equipment, and materials.
You're a great fit for this role if you have:
- Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a similar/related field.
- NY State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education or Childhood Education (Preferred).
- All courses required under Health Code Article 47.13 c 1 and 2.
- Teaching experience at the infant, toddler, and/or preschool levels.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
