Additionally, IDOL offers a range of other services including Audience Development, Rights Management, International Coordination, Physical Distribution and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) solutions.

In parallel, through its technology subsidiary IDOL Tech, IDOL markets its Labelcamp distribution application. The Labelcamp platform is used by prestigious music companies worldwide, such as PIAS, Because, ROM, Ditto or Kompakt.

Based in Brooklyn, NY within a growing US team, the N. American Label Manager reports jointly to the New York-based N. American General Manager and the Paris-based Head of International – Marketing & Label Services.

Your main duties will include assisting N. American-based labels in planning release campaigns, as well as overseeing the day-to-day management and implementation of their release plans. This includes helping with the logistics of labels' release plans, as well as launching creative and innovative campaigns to achieve commercial goals.

Using IDOL's market leading B2B analytics platform Labelcamp you will also be responsible for analysing results and using data to identify areas of success and possible improvement.

Main tasks

• Liaise with a dedicated roster of IDOL's label partners in N. America, acting as their primary point of contact
• Manage the labels releases using our best in class portal, Labelcamp
• Coordinate and strategize release campaigns with the wider IDOL Distribution team (DSPs relationships, Audience Development, international coordination, Content)
• Coordinate and strategize with labels on optimizing their catalog titles across all retail platforms
• Analyse campaign results on a regular basis in order to improve results
• When applicable, coordinate physical releases with our N. American sub-distribution partners.
• Attend gigs frequently and help introduce new music and develop the team's network

Skills & Experience

• 2 years minimum experience in the music industry
• A working knowledge of the N. American music market including an extensive list of contacts, deep understanding of the DSP landscape and new music consumption usages.
• Passionate about music and music culture, extensive knowledge of the independent music scene.
• The candidate will be customer service driven, a proven relationship builder, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be challenge-driven.
• They will display an ability to work autonomously and be highly organised.
• The following are not required, but a plus
  • Familiarity / experience with physical retail and/or direct-to-consumer sales
  • Familiarity / experience with vinyl, CD and/or cassette manufacturing
  • Previous label or distribution experience
