Construction Project Administrator

Busy & Growing Mechanical Construction company looking for an energized and motivated individual for the position of Project Administrator to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year, Salary commensurate with experience

• Assist project team on construction documents generation, processing, execution, submission, tracking, scan and file
• Prepare and review contract specs and drawings, site safety, field documents and forms
• Generate, submit, and track submittals and RFIs, change orders, permits, logs, transmittals
• Prepare project close out documents, manuals, warranties, training videos and sign sheets, transmittals, and attic stocks
• Correspond, Communicate, and follow up with Owner/CM/GC and Subcontractors/Vendors

• Must have strong background in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is A Plus
• Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills
• Strong professional communication and organization skills
• Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with changing priorities
• Experience with Public Construction Projects (i.e. SCA, DDC, NYCHA, DASNY, MTA) = A PLUS
• Experience with NYC School Construction Authority SCA = A MAJOR PLUS
• Familiarity with Procore or similar = A PLUS
