** MEP QC Field Engineer
** to join the project in Brooklyn, NY

** About Brooklyn Jail Project*
* ** _Extraordinary Projects, Exceptional Performance_*
* The approximate $3B project scope includes design and construction of a new state-of-the-art facility.
The facility will contain 1,040 beds for men, programmatic elements such as a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, and educational and workforce development spaces.

In addition, the facility will provide 30,000 square feet of community facility space, a below-grade tunnel connection to the Kings County Criminal Court building, a secured entry (sally port), and 100 accessory below-grade parking spaces for all staff and service providers.

* DESCRIPTION:

* As an MEP QC Field Engineer at TPC reporting to  
** the QC Manager & Sr. Project Manager
** you will have the opportunity to:

+ Expand and Develop standard operating procedures and processes to achieve the highest levels of quality associated with delivering a completed construction project

+  Assist with the creation of project specific Quality Management Plans and verify implementation of plan for each project

+  Assist with the development of Quality metrics that empower teams to review information on quality execution; work cross-functionally with operations to address any trend.

+  Manage a team of Quality professionals to execute the administrative tasks related to reporting site evaluations, quality reporting requirements, and site specific quality planning

+  Conduct random site evaluations, including follow-up evaluations to ensure corrections have been made to deficiencies

+  Create mechanisms for sharing best practices and quality issues across project teams and among all quality personnel

+  Act as a resource for field operations with compliance on Federal and State regulatory requirements as well as local quality regulations including: ADA, ASHE, NFPA, UL, ASTM, and FBC

+  Develop and update comprehensive training curriculum for all field operations, Quality Department Staff, and Subcontractors

+  Stay abreast of trends and evolving best practices by participating in organizations and forums dedicated to Quality.

+  Keep the Company informed of the latest updates on best practices and standards

** REQUIREMENTS:*
* + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.

+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP quality control in building construction projects.

+ Prove experience in conducting inspections, audits, and managing quality documentation.

+ Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

+ Proficient with quality management software and MS Office.

+ Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.
