Mare is a leading company in the field of maritime services and part of the Sea Renergy Group. We specialize in Marine Warranty Surveying (MWS), engineering services, and project certification, offering comprehensive support for offshore wind energy projects worldwide.
We are currently seeking an experienced Marine Warranty Surveyor (m/f/d) to support a platform block loadout project starting from 10 July 2026 (dates to be confirmed) for an expected duration of 3 days. This freelance position is onshore-based in Algeciras, Spain, working 8–12 hours per day.

ResponsibilitiesAs part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Perform Marine Warranty Survey activities during the platform block loadout
- Monitor and verify that loadout operations are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards
- Assess operational risks and provide technical oversight throughout the loadout
- Liaise with the client and project stakeholders during the operation
- Prepare and issue the Certificate of Approval upon successful completion of the survey
- Deliver clear reporting and documentation throughout the assignment

- Completed degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Nautical Science or a comparable technical qualification
- Solid experience as a Marine Warranty Surveyor or Client Representative during offshore loadout operations
- Proven experience supervising platform or heavy-lift loadout activities
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Compensation:
- Day Rate (all-in) under freelance contract: 700€ for a 12-hrs day
Contract Duration:
- 10–12 July 2025
