All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
- Support the FP&A team in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts by collaborating with cross-functional departments to gather required financial information.
- Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, key performance indicators (KPIs), and cost drivers.
- Contribute to improving forecast accuracy through ongoing financial analysis and insights.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary on business performance.
- Maintain and update financial models, reporting tools, and databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting efficiency, and overall team effectiveness by implementing best practices.
- Support initiatives that enhance the budgeting and reporting process while contributing to a sustainable team workload and work-life balance.
- Participate in finance transformation projects, including the Tracking Tools Transformation initiative.
- Enhance reporting efficiency.
- Improve forecast accuracy.
- Facilitate an effective and streamlined budgeting process.
- Analyze and monitor cost drivers to support business performance.
- Improve the FP&A team's operational efficiency and work-life balance.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. - Analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with financial modeling and analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Power BI experience is a plus
- Travel 0-10%
