Position: FP&A Analyst - Temporary Contract

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Support the FP&A team in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts by collaborating with cross-functional departments to gather required financial information.
  • Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, key performance indicators (KPIs), and cost drivers.
  • Contribute to improving forecast accuracy through ongoing financial analysis and insights.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary on business performance.
  • Maintain and update financial models, reporting tools, and databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting efficiency, and overall team effectiveness by implementing best practices.
  • Support initiatives that enhance the budgeting and reporting process while contributing to a sustainable team workload and work-life balance.
  • Participate in finance transformation projects, including the Tracking Tools Transformation initiative.
  • Enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Improve forecast accuracy.
  • Facilitate an effective and streamlined budgeting process.
  • Analyze and monitor cost drivers to support business performance.
  • Improve the FP&A team's operational efficiency and work-life balance.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with financial modeling and analysis tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Power BI experience is a plus
  • Travel 0-10%
