Home Health Aid HHA

About the Role:

• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support mobility needs such as transferring and repositioning
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritional guidelines are followed
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, general tidying)
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
• Follow care plans and document daily activities and observations
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance

• Current New York State HHA certification required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of home care or healthcare experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with physical tasks as needed
