Physical Therapist – Greenpoint Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapist to join the team at its Gowanus clinic. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities- Set clear expectations for patients’ clinical progress.
- Execute treatments as promised and provide Home Exercise Programs and other documents.
- Deliver a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive community environment for patients and staff.
- License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, Master or Bachelor of Physical Therapy

- Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.
- Lifting: routinely loads of 5-35 lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead.
- Carrying: routinely loads of 5-10 lbs for 40-50 ft.
- Pushing: routinely loads of 5-150 lbs on casters, runners, or pulleys.
- Sustained grip: routinely 1-2 minutes of 40-50 lbs.
- Guarding a lift load: routinely 120-140 lbs.
