Key Responsibilities of an Pediatric Ultrasound Tech:
Perform ultrasound examinations for pediatric patients, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and other specialized studies as ordered.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and proper function.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Provide age-appropriate communication and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families.
Document findings and maintain accurate patient records per department and regulatory standards.
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements  of an Pediatric Ultrasound Tech:
Valid Ultrasound Technologist certification
Minimum of 2 years of recent ultrasound experience
Must have Pediatric experience
BLS and RDMS certification
