Looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Under the direction of the Work Life Services (formerly EAP) Clinical Manager, the Social worker performs assessments and referrals for the following:
Employees who are mandated to WLS because they are in violation of the FTA regulations/or the MTA/NYCT drugs and alcohol policies, conducts assessments for employees and employment candidates referred by the (MAC), provides crises intervention and short term case management services when required for specialized needs, e.g., eating disorders, stress management, sexual harassment, domestic violence, and other issues. Manage special projects relevant to EAP research or data collection as needed.

Manage EAP database and provide psychological testing as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMRNTS:
Master's degree from an accredited college with a major in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. Three years of experience in the area of counseling or a satisfactory equivalent.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/

SKILLS:


Experience in working with multicultural clients in a unionized industrial environment; knowledge of the disease concept of alcoholism and drug addiction; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to relate effectively with physicians and other professionals in a highly structured and complex organization; strong knowledge of diagnostic& Statistical Manual DSM-V.
Must have a NYS Social Worker License

Salary commensurate with scope of work job experience
Proper footwear required to perform tasks in a safe manner.
Perform other reasonably related duties as required.
