Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays required

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in an acute care setting. The technologist will be responsible for producing accurate sonographic images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
The ideal candidate must have hospital-based ultrasound experience and a strong background in performing cardiac (heart) scans.
- Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure proper patient positioning and equipment settings to obtain optimal imaging results
- Review patient history and verify physician orders prior to examinations
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols
- Communicate findings appropriately to interpreting physicians
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions
- Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout procedures
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as required
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of General Registered Ultrasound,cardiac (heart) scans.experience (hospital experience required)
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military training if applicable)
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS
Preferred Qualifications:
- BLS Certification
- One (1) year of experience as RDMS preferred
Additional Notes:
- Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Holidays required
- Rotating weekends required
- Interviews will be conducted in person (on-site)
