Senior GRC Engineer

Overview

Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a Senior GRC Engineer.

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior GRC Engineer to support the development, expansion, and maintenance of technical compliance solutions across a distributed global environment. This role focuses on SOX-related engineering, automation, and control implementation, working closely with internal teams and international stakeholders to enhance governance, risk, and compliance capabilities.

• Support technical regulatory compliance initiatives, including code-based SOX controls
• Collaborate with UK-based subsidiaries to expand and enhance control coverage
• Partner with platform owners on user access management and scoping activities
• Participate in alert monitoring, infrastructure upgrades, and access review processes
• Conduct vendor security reviews, policy reviews, and compliance documentation
• Develop process narratives, monitor logs, manage code repositories, and support automation efforts
• Work cross-functionally with global teams and adapt to varied time zones as needed

• Strong hands-on technical experience with Python, SQL, Git Hub, and automation tooling
• Proven, real-world SOX experience - including audit processes and ITGC implementation
• Experience developing SOX process narratives and implementing new controls
• Log analysis, monitoring, and repository management
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and adaptability
• Experience with access control management
• Background in platform/system administration
• Financial controls or SOX specialist experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
