Overview

Make a real impact where it matters most — supporting clinicians and staff in delivering patient care. We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Desktop Engineer to join our hospital IT team. In this role, you won’t just sit behind a screen — you’ll be out on the floor, solving problems in real time for doctors, nurses, and staff who rely on technology to care for patients.

• Become the go-to IT expert for desktop, laptop, and endpoint support across the hospital.
• Image, configure, and deploy devices that keep clinical teams connected.
• Troubleshoot urgent issues with speed and professionalism — sometimes at a patient’s bedside.
• Work side-by-side with clinicians and hospital staff, earning their trust as a reliable IT partner.
• Automate tasks with scripting (Power Shell, VBScript, Batch) to make support faster and smarter.
• Support EMR systems and clinical workflows that drive the day-to-day of patient care.

• Prior related experience in desktop engineering or field support, ideally in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows environments, imaging, device drivers, and endpoint security.
• Strong communicator who can explain tech clearly to non-technical staff.
• Comfortable working independently, moving through hospital facilities, and even lifting/moving equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Experience with ticketing systems (Service Now, Remedy, Zendesk, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Bonus points if you bring skills with Crowd Strike, Rapid7, N-Able, EMR support, HIPAA compliance, or certifications like A+ or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator.
