We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Barclays Center Arena team in Brooklyn, NY! The intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to various projects. This position is designed to provide exposure to different aspects of our organization and offers a dynamic learning environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

What You Will Do

* Technical Support:

* Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

* Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person.

* Install and configure software applications and hardware peripherals.

* System Maintenance:

* Help maintain and monitor computer systems and networks.

* Perform routine updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security.

* Assist with the setup of new user accounts and ensure proper access controls.

* Documentation and Reporting:

* Document IT procedures, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

* Create and maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.

* Generate reports on system performance and other key metrics as needed.

* Project Assistance:

* Participate in IT-related projects such as system upgrades, software implementations, or migrations.

* Conduct research and provide recommendations for new technologies and tools.

* Collaborate with team members on improving current IT systems and processes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Who You Are

The IT Intern will assist the IT department with daily operations, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of information technology. This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting, learn new technical skills, and contribute to the success of the organization.

KEY

COMPETENCIES:

Skills You Possess

* Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

* Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting principles.

* Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, or Linux.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common IT tools.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred

Skills:

* Experience with programming languages or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, Power Shell).

* Familiarity with IT frameworks or standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO).

* Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
