* * Job Summary
* The IT Quality Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, and executing software testing activities to ensure high-quality IT systems and applications. This role works closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to validate functional and non-functional requirements and identify defects early in the development lifecycle.

* Roles & Responsibilities
* * Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases

* Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications

* Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

* Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect tracking tools

* Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes

* Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

* Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC, and QA best practices

* Support test data preparation and environment coordination

* Provide test execution reports and quality metrics to project teams

* Required

Qualifications & Skills
* * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

* 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing

* Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

* Hands-on experience with test case design and execution

* Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Bugzilla)

* Basic knowledge of test automation tools or frameworks

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Preferred Qualifications
* * Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, HIPAA files.

* Familiarity with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses.

* Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST clients)

* Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices

* Exposure to programming languages (e.g., Python, R, or Java) for data analysis.

* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
