3)
Location: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Duration: Contract
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced AEM Solutions Lead to drive and lead Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering scalable AEM solutions, supporting NYC design system implementations, and ensuring high performance across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AEM development and implementation activities
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations
- Manage and optimize Dispatcher configuration, caching, and system performance
- Support CI/CD pipelines, including Cloud Manager deployments and automation
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems (CRM, DAM, APIs, Analytics tools)
- Monitor application health and implement observability solutions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in AEM development
- Strong expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, Sling, and Workflows
- Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Java Script
- Strong knowledge of Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies
- Experience with AEM Cloud Service & on-prem deployments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins, Cloud Manager)
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Leadership experience including mentoring and code reviews
- Experience with Adobe Target
- Integration with Adobe Analytics
- Experience with Akamai CDN
- Knowledge of translation tools (Smartling, Transperfect)
- Experience with search tools (Coveo, Solr)
